Financial Aid

How will I pay for my education?

There are several methods by which a student can finance his or her education. While college is no small investment, there is a financing plan for everyone. Your financial planner will work with you individually to find the best plan for your particular financial situation.

Title IV assistance

Denver Academy of Court Reporting, through the Finance department, provides assistance for students to discover whether they qualify for Title IV Federal Student Aid Funds, and then to apply for the programs for which they qualify. All students must complete and submit the following:

  • The application for federal student aid (FAFSA)
  • Appropriate additional documentation required to establish eligibility
  • The appropriate loan application
  • Any required financial aid transcripts from postsecondary schools previously attended
  • If selected for verification, the student must submit base-year income tax forms

Veterans’ benefits

DACR’s programs are approved for the training of veterans and eligible persons. Please ask about specific programs.

Scholarships

DACR also accepts scholarship aid sponsored by individuals and organizations. Students must seek scholarship aid independently. However, the School provides information regarding scholarships and methods to search for scholarships. Questions regarding any specific scholarship should be addressed to the Director of Finance.

How do I apply for financial assistance?

When you contact the school, you will be assigned a representative. That representative will work with you to complete all your application materials and get you scheduled with a financial planner to help you determine how much aid you are eligible for and make the proper applications to obtain that aid. If you are a candidate for our online program, your meetings will be via phone and computer. Don’t worry – we will walk you through every step of the process!
